I am planning a Disney World vacation for our family this coming spring. I'd love to hear from those of you who have gone there recently. I want any and all recommendations that you are willing to give me.
I know that Cinderella's Royal Table and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are musts. I am going to reserve those as soon as I am permitted. I am working with a travel agent to book our room soon at Wilderness Lodge. Other than these things, I am still in the planning phase. We will stay for a week and have not decided if we will fly or not, but probably will.
Please post as much information as you want or email me if you prefer... I'm all ears!

It's been about 7 years since we went, so we don't count as recent, but I do remember that i was very pleased with the strollers at the park. They're not your normal 'rental' strollers and you don't have to worry about parking them and leaving them to go in places. I remember thinking I wish my stroller at home was this easy to push.
ange, i dont know anything about disney, but just wanted to say, how exciting!!!!!
We went in May, and had a fabulous time......but I must warn you: It is NOT a relaxing vacation, but it sure is fun.
Before we went, I talked with Stephanie Williamson. They go at least every year, she has it down to a total science, and was able to give ride and show reviews.
We did not fly, and I'm kinda wishin' we had. You are already so tired, and then to have a 10 hour drive ahead of you is pretty miserable.
We did the dinner plan and I would highly recommend it. I'm positive that you come out ahead in the long run, and it was so convenient.
We did the park hopper, which you could probably get by without, but we took advantage of it. If you don't do it, make sure you decide where you're gonna eat and plan your parks accordingly.
The Bugs Life show at the AK scared the crapola out of both of my kids.....view with caution. :)
If I think of something else, I'll come back
Hope it helps,
Shana
We went in September and absolutely loved it!!! We flew Allegient air out of Chattanooga...so very easy. It does fly into Stanford so you have to arrange your own transportation. Check tiffanytowncars.com. That is who we used and they were excellent. They were right there waiting on us when we got off the plane.
I would definitely recommend the dining plan as well. If you want to know particular restaurants that we enjoyed, I still have that written down...just let me know.
I couldn't get into Cinderella's royal table, but we did do the princess dinner in Epcot. Maddie and Ella absolutely loved it! The good thing about it is it only uses one meal on the dining plan whereas CRT uses 2. Plus they get to see more of the princesses.
We rented strollers as well...definitely recommend. Little legs get very tired. Plus, when we would leave a park, Eric would actually sell our stroller. It helped recoup some of our money and people were glad to buy them because they came out much cheaper.
If I think of any other tips, I'll let you know.
It really is a fun trip. I look forward to doing it again in a few years.
We went in May. It was super. However, you wouldn't benefit much from our suggestions as far as rental cars, flights, etc. because we went to the one in California! Have fun, though.
I have heard to avoid peak travel times and to stay on site if possible (if you have younger kids who might need a nap or a break from the park in the middle of the day). Good luck! Hope you all have a great trip!
